Lot Splitting

Lot Splitting

It refers to manufacture one lot (usually meaning the number of manufacturing based on the order) by splitting it into several pieces.
This scheme is used in the following cases:
* The case where the work for some quantity of items which are being manufactured based on the instructions stopped for the failure in machine and facilities
* The case where urgently required quantity of products are manufactured in advance as a tentative way when one lot of materials are lacked
According to such lot splitting, the instructions to split order as well may be made, which is called Order Splitting.
